Teamsters 315 Brothers and Sisters,

When we started our campaign, Members First chose to run very deliberately on facts and transparency. We want you, Teamsters 315 members, to have full access to our slate. Ask questions, express concerns, air grievances, anything goes.

In that spirit, this week, we proposed an open and straightforward debate between our slate, Members First, and our opposition, Teamsters United.

Teamsters United was gracious enough to consider our request, but their response was less than what we had hoped for. The only way they would accept a debate was with scripted questions and only allowing one slate member to speak.

This proposal seemed devoid of genuine substance and genuine answers for our members.

So we still have an open invitation to Teamsters United and are awaiting a response if they will debate us in an open format.

But with or without our opposition, we want to give Teamsters 315 members a chance to meet and question the entire Members First slate.

WHEN: 
So on October 15th at 12PM, we will hold an open forum right down the street from the Union Hall for any member to come and ask questions.

Laborers International Union Hall
611 Berrellesa St, Martinez, CA 94553

We still want to share the stage with Teamsters United, so we hope they will show up and take questions with us.

We will also be live streaming this, so you can tune in and ask questions remotely if you cannot be there physically.
